Our services include fast and accurate wood machining, sanding, laminating, kiln drying, strength grading, treatment and coatings.
Wood Machining
We have a modern and well equipped machine shop which enables us to provide an excellent and responsive service.
We have three Weinig moulders, one of which can plane timber up to 300mm wide. Cutters are produced in our state of the art tool room so we can machine practically any profile from a pattern or drawing without any delays. We would normally be able to supply a new profile in 2 to 3 days from receipt of the order. We offer an accurate cross cutting service and we can sand timber up to 1100mm wide.
Laminating
We specialise in laminating joinery sections for the production of bar tops, worktops, newel posts and many other applications.
Kiln Drying
Our vacuum kiln enables us to supply timber with a low moisture content when required for applications such as flooring.
Strength Grading
We have qualified visual strength graders and can supply any section of hardwood or softwood strength graded to European or British Standards.
Treatment and Coatings
Timber can be supplied with preservative and fire retardant treatment as well as a wide range of decorative coatings.
